BAS Manager - MPA

Originally from India, Abhay has called New Zealand home for more than a decade. Since completing his Master of Professional Accounting at Victoria University of Wellington, he has built extensive experience in New Zealand public practice, supporting clients across a diverse range of industries with their accounting, tax, and compliance needs.

Abhay works closely with business owners to help them understand their numbers, gain clarity over their finances, and make informed decisions. He enjoys partnering with owner-managed businesses, particularly those experiencing growth or change, and believes accounting should be about more than compliance - it should provide meaningful insights that help businesses move forward.

Known for his calm and straightforward approach, Abhay takes the time to understand each client’s unique situation and find practical solutions that work. Whether he’s helping resolve complex accounting challenges, improving financial processes, or bringing clarity to a difficult situation, his focus is always on making things simpler and more manageable for his clients.

Outside of work, Abhay enjoys playing club cricket, travelling, and spending time with his young family.
