Xero & Cloud Systems Manager - AT, BA

Harpreet is our Xero and Cloud Systems Manager at AAF, and is the person clients turn to when something in Xero or their cloud systems isn’t working as it should. Most of his time is spent sorting out Xero and app-related issues, providing practical training and support, and helping clients move across from other accounting systems when needed. 

He also works alongside the wider team during busier periods, particularly when extra support is needed with GST and tax return work. 

With experience across both IT and accounting roles in New Zealand and Fiji, Harpreet naturally sits in the space where systems and accounting overlap. He enjoys figuring out how different tools connect and finding practical ways to make them work better for the people using them. 

He’s often described as a bit of a “jack of all trades”, and that variety suits him well. He enjoys a good challenge, especially when something isn’t straightforward, because that’s usually where better solutions are uncovered. A big part of his approach is taking the time to listen first, then working through the most practical way forward, usually with a well-timed dad joke along the way. 

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching sport, and reading.
