John’s path into accounting started in a very different place - the kitchen. Originally trained as a chef, he spent years working in the fast-paced hospitality world, honing his attention to detail, discipline, and ability to perform under pressure. Over time, a growing interest in numbers and problem-solving led him to make a career change into accounting.

He now holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Victoria University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). John brings experience from the public practice sector, having worked as a Financial Accountant across a range of industries. His unique background gives him a practical, solution-focused approach to financial challenges, combining analytical thinking with real-world experience.



Outside of work, John enjoys fishing, following sport, and spending time with his family.
