Sunil Hooda

BAS Accountant - MPA

Sunil was born and raised in India and moved to New Zealand to pursue new opportunities in accounting and finance. After initially settling in Hamilton, he completed a Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Waikato before relocating to Wellington.

He brings over five years of experience across accounting and finance roles in a range of industries, from startups through to established small and medium-sized businesses. He is currently in the final stages of becoming a Chartered Accountant, with just one exam remaining.

Sunil has a calm, methodical approach to his work and is quick to notice when something doesn’t quite add up. He works patiently through the detail until everything is resolved clearly.

Clients value his approachable, down-to-earth style and the time he takes to understand their situation before working through practical solutions that suit their needs.

Outside of work, Sunil enjoys spending time in the garden, experimenting with food and cooking ideas, and playing badminton.
